Biltmore Estate

UPDATE 4-23-03
NEW HORSES!!
We are getting in some horses this weekend on evaluation that are priced to sell. They will not be here long. Many of you have contacted us for horses like these at this price point. Call or e-mail us for details.

Welcome to Bits & Bytes Farm on the Web. Take a virtual tour of the farm and see the beautiful thoroughbreds we have for sale. Follow their training and learn how we bring them from racetrack to a new career in the show ring, fox hunting or eventing.

Located on the grounds of Biltmore Estate, the Biltmore Estate Equestrian Center offers a variety of programs for both area residents and visiting guests. These include full-service boarding and temporary stabling, guided trail rides, instruction in English and Western riding, and the Ride Biltmore Estate program for those who wish to bring their own horses and enjoy the estate’s extensive trail system. The center also hosts numerous equestrian events each year, including horse shows, distance rides, clinics, and camps. Details of the programs are outlined below, and further information and reservations are available by calling the Biltmore Estate Equestrian Center at 828-225-7433, 9:00 A.M.–5:00 P.M.

Big Money & Irish
Big Money & Irish on some of the wooded trails climbing up the mountain.

It almost looks like Barry is riding double with Robyn on Irish because the hill is so steep.

Big Money & Irish
Look at the two headed six legged trail horse (Big Money and Irish)! We call them the twins. Both horses are 17+ hands and dark bay with brown noses. Both horses are unraced also. Big Money is one year older or we would think they were truly twins.
