Hi Elizabeth!!!

I know it has been a while since I have sent any pictures of Steff. Usually I am by myself so it is hard to take any!!

Well, Steff is doing super!!!! These pictures were from July 4 when my family came out to see her. She was great! We are taking our training extremely slow and mainly just having fun. She is picking up her correct canter leads (most of the time) sometimes she still has trouble with the right one. Her transitions are getting quite smooth and automatic and we are doing some very small jumps, which she seems to LOVE~! We are also doing lots of trail rides. She jumps logs in the woods and goes right into streams without a second thought!

She has been so good that I have even let my sister, mom, my kids (10 and 11), and my niece and nephew (both 10) ride her too. She is quite patient with it all! I just love her!!

Gloria Coleman and I had a great ride today. We swapped horse and she loved Steff. Fame was wonderful too! He feels so different from Steff. It is fun to ride other horses! I'm so used to my girl!! We then went on a super trail ride. Then Fame and Steff went for a walk in the creek. I want to take Steff to a Hunter Pace with Gloria and Fame sometime. I think she would love it!

I have been looking at your site and have seen some other horses I would LOVE to have! Sure wish I had the $$! I love seeing all the horses that are getting great homes!

Hope you all are doing fine. Just wanted to say "hi" and update you on my girl! I am soooo happy with her!!! I have had several people (the vet and farrier among others) tell me how lucky I was to get such a great horse for my first one! I agree!!

Take care and I will try to do better with the pictures!!

Hi Elizabeth!

Just wanted to update you on Steff.  As always, she is WONDERFUL!!  :)  I have been riding her bare-back lately, which she seems to enjoy.  We do trails and some arena work.  Today, I was riding with Gloria and Fame and decided to try her with just her halter.  Well, she did wonderful!  She was very responsive and willing.  She is such a good girl!

Fame and Steffie's Hope.

I would have never believed when I got an OTTB, one who is just four on top of it, that just six months later, I would be riding her bare-back with just a halter!  Amazing!  I feel so blessed to have her in my life!  I am soooo attached to her and I think she feels the same!  :)

Hope you all are well!

Christy

I have more that I have taken from the beginning and will have my husband scan them so I can send those too.

Steffie is WONDERFUL!!!!! She was a bit wild the first night she arrived but has settled right in and I couldn't be any happier!! I go out and see her about six days a week. Sometimes we work, sometimes lunge, sometimes trail ride and sometimes I just groom and hang out with her. We are taking it very slow since I have no major showing ambitions and just mainly want to love her and give her the best life! I love her sooooo much!

I was on vacation last week and I missed her so much!!! I even took pictures of her with me! How sad is that????!!!!

She has the best personality! Sweet, loving, gentle, she is so willing and tries so hard for me! She calls to me from the field or stall and when I go to get her, she just comes right over. I never have to chase her down! People have been so impressed with her progress both training-wise and appearance-wise! She is beautiful!

I am so happy that I bought her!!!! Kasee, my trainer, told me that I am very lucky to have her! She is a wonderful girl!!!! She is even making fans with people who don't usually like mares!!!

Well, I wanted to send you an update on her and some pictures! I will have Clay scan the others and send them soon! Hope you all are doing great! I have been enjoying the web-site!

Love these thoroughbreds!!!!!

Thanks for all your help in finding my girl for me! I am on equine cloud-nine!!!! Christy - Miss Steff's Mom!!
