Our horses > success stories > Alley FlashAlley Flash aka Prospect Horse for Sale: "A Flash"April 21, 2007Hi Elizabeth, What can I say Flash and I are getting along great. When I first started this adventure of buying a horse off the internet I was nervous to say the least. You made the whole process more comfortable and I trusted you right away. Nonetheless, the day Flash arrived I had butterflies in my stomach. It took some time for us to understand one another and the building of trust has come far in the last 3 months. He is alot of work but it is so rewarding to see him progress each day. Flash is getting stronger in his hindquarters and is doing very well on the lunge line. He definitely has his days that playing is a priority over working. When I ride him we do ALOT of trotting in circles and learning to be around other horses in the ring. Seeing other horses jumping is still a challenge, but each time he sees them he is better. I respect the fact that he is a very big 4 year old where playing and bucking is fun for him. If the weather could stay nice , he prefers the outdoor to the indoor ring. I am taking my time with him and enjoying each step. My favorite thing about Flash is his personality. I think I struck gold. He is so comical and is the social butterfly of the barn. I spend alot of time laughing at him which makes me love him more and more each day. His big, goofy ears are my favorite. Everyone in the barn knows who Flash is and I have people coming up to me that I haven't even met before asking me questions about him. He definitely has presence! Flash is confident, sweet and ALWAYS happy. He is gaining weight slowly, but has a great appetite for just about anything. He loves some apples and carrots from time to time. Since he has shed out, his shiny copper coat is just gorgeous. Turnout has done wonders for his mind. He is socializing well with other horses and blowing off some steam in the process. Thanks again for bringing us together!! I couldn't ask for a better friend and I think Flash feels the same! Take care, April 8, 2007Hi Elizabeth, January 21, 2007Hi Elizabeth,
January 9, 2007Congratulations to Loretta Porter of Aurora, Colorado on the purchase of Alley FlashHere was "A Flash's" info from his Prospect Horse for Sale page:Alley Flash is one of the best horses we have ever had on our Web site! "A Flash" is a four year old chestnut gelding who is 17.1hh plus! He is DEAD quiet. Completely sound. He could do anything tomorrow. Anyone can handle him even though he is that huge. "A Flash" is said to be bombproof. He has a long, long, long stride. He won his last race but he is not good enough to compete with the new horses arriving at the track. This is a really special horse. He is a grandson of the great Roberto who was the 1972 English and Irish 3 year-old colt. His best success as a sire is in producing turf horses. He has Hail to Reason, Nearco, Raise a Native and Nasrullah in his bloodlines. Click here to see his pedigree.SOLD! Congratulations to Loretta Porter of Aurora, Colorado
