Dakota

Dakota belongs to one of our boarders who has gone away to school. He is a nine year old off-the-track Thoroughbred who has been away from the track for many years. Dakota has Hunter/Jumper show and jumping experience with his current owner. He is very talented in dressage and shows great potential when jumping. Who knows? Dakota might make a very nice event horse or fox hunter. He has lovely balanced movement in all three gaits. He moves well off the leg with impulsion and is very light and soft in hand.

Current Training

  • Solid mover at all three gaits
  • Schooling 1st Level dressage
  • He will do flying changes
  • Loves to be trail ridden and rides well alone or with other horses
  • Perfect ground manners
  • Hauls/clips/ties/stands for farrier and vet
  • Ridden in snaffle bit
  • He is looking for a special person to love him
