Charlie will make a fantastic horse for a determined
Ponly Clubber who wants to win! - August 20, 2005
Marie was so comfortable jumping Charlie she
stuck out her tongue at the photographer. - August 20, 2005
"Charlie"
Charlie is almost black. He came to us as a wooly chocolate
brown from being outside 24/7. Charlie slipped through
the cracks and was never registered. At the age of six there is really
no point in registering or racing him. We purchased Charlie
from the same breeder as Mississippi
Sam.
Charlie is about 15.2+ and big around. He was following
us around the pasture as we were looking for horses to purchase at his
breeder's farm. Charlie whispered, "Choose me" in Barry's ear. Then
our
"Official Snuggle Tester" for the trip, Linda Ross, gave us
the "buy this one" signal.
Charlie's training is progressing rapidly. He is a quick learner and
he loves to work. Charlie is now walking, trotting and cantering in
the arena and jumping grid combinations. He has also turned into a bold
x-country horse.
Charlie should go to a child who wants to win at competitions. He would
make a fantastic Pony Club horse. He is very versatile. He could go hunter/
jumpers or dressage and eventing.
Current Training
- He has learned to go on the lunge. See photos.
- Charlie is walking, trotting and cantering under saddle quietly now
and jumping combinations in grids.
- Charlie loves to jump and is free jumping grids and bounces.
- Charlie is free jumping our two foot high brick wall and garden gates.
- He is good for the farrier and has great feet.
- Charlie has a very confident and friendly personality
- Charlie will make a great Pony Club horse because he wants to be a
pet and he loves to be ridden.
- Charlie has had two months training with a professional
trainer. See photos. He can do flying
changes on long lines!
- Charlie loves to jump!
- Charlie loves running and jumping over x-country fences! He is bold
and willing. He did not refuse a single fence at his first x-country
schooling.
- Charlie is not afraid of any kind of jump. He even jumped fences
with "Mr. Bones" hanging off of it.
