Our horses > horses for sale > prospects > photos - LanceLance - SOLD!Four year old, 16.1 well mannered. He allows himself to be body clipped and he has had his ears clipped. He is current on all his shots and he has had regular worming since he was a baby. He is very healthy. He is sound for racing now but shows no talent. He has run only eight times. He will vet sound with x-rays.
Here is what his owner has to say about "Lance". I just want people to know that Lance is a good prospect. He is very kind and nice to be around he loves peppermints. Lance is well broke and he has a nice big comfortable stride. I love him but its unfair to him to let him sit - he is only four years-old. I travel a lot with my job as an assistant trainer.I was in the show horse business for over 20 yrs and I spent five years doing retraining and selling Thoroughbreds while working at the track. Now I don't have the time or the appropriate space or equipment to get a horse started over fences for resale. I know what people are looking for and "Lance" will work. He just needs a chance and someone who can see through the rough field look. Thanks for listing him I do appriciate it and all your help.I have a few that are on their way out and are just slow, not sore. I work for a great trainer and we don't train them when they get sore - they go to the farm. This makes them very salvagable. When they can't run or do well on the Kentucky circuit they get sold and not sent to smaller tracks.
