UPDATE JANUARY 14, 2005

The Lipizzaner Stallions are very impressive up close.

Barry and Megan McClay, a former visitor and now "Friend of Bits & Bytes Farm", who has choosen to ride Lipizzaners instead of Thoroughbreds.

We had the chance to see the Lipizzaner Stallions up close and personal on Monday thanks to Megan.

Elizabeth's next trailer . . .
Just think how many thoroughbreds could fit in this trailer if they can fit in 15 Lipizzaners.

Megan and Barry check out the Lipizzaner Stallions' trailer. Barry told Elizabeth not to get any ideas about a new trailer!

Welcome to Bits & Bytes Farm on the Web. Take a virtual tour of the farm and see the beautiful thoroughbreds we have for sale. Follow their training and learn how we bring them from racetrack to a new career in the show ring, fox hunting or eventing. Visitor, Visitors and More Visitors! It is nice to have a break from riding. We have had so many visitors lately, we hardly need to exercise the horses.
We started with a visitor from Virginia, then two visitors from Savannah, then another visitor from Virgina, followed by five visitors from Greenville, SC, and former visitor and now friend from Texas (by way of the "World Famous" Lipizzaner Stallions). Then, two more visitors from Greenville, SC. Whew! No time to update the Web site.
We have so many new photos you will have to look through each horse's photo pages to see them all. There are too many photos to put on the the visitors' photos page. Cloned

Our visitor from the Lipizzaner show was Megan McClay. She came a few years ago and tried Irish. She fell in love with him but with school ending soon she decided to wait to get her own horse. She was in town riding in the the "World Famous" Lipizzaner Stallions show. Megan was kind enough to arrange tickets to the show for several Bits & Bytes Farm family members.
We have a new addition to our secuity forceMeet Sydney. She came to us by way of Arkansas. Sydney joins our other Dobermans - Wizard and Zulu - to protect our farm. She is a rather large and very beautiful girl. Zulu and she have become the best of buddies. We can't wait to get Marie and Gertjan's THREE Dobermans together with our three. Come on out to meet her, but please make an appointment!
STILL MISSING!
Call or come by for a visitPlease call us to discuss which horse might be the best match for you based on riding skill, experience and equine personality. We do not send out videos because it is important to match the personality of the horse with the personality of the rider. We are matchmakers, not horse brokers. We have horses in a wide price range. Call us to discuss prices or to schedule an appointment. We'd love to have you come meet all of our horses--we know that it will be worth your time. Just bring peppermints! |
