Lynn Symansky to Visit Bits & Bytes Farm

Lynn Symansky is Coming to Train Us at Bits & Bytes Farm!

We have been trying to be creative and keep the boarders at Bits & Bytes Farm moving forward in their training during this pandemic. Our resident expert Sarah Berhalter has lots of high-level connections and she has been organizing on-site training for us all spring and summer as many training clinics, shows, and facilities were shut down because of COVID-19. Our first visiting trainer was the US Para-Equestrian coach Missy Ranhousen. She worked with us on our dressage and jumping skills in July. It is so much fun to work with someone who has 'been there and done that' and yet can still teach to the level of the student.

Dressage Judge - Robin Tardy GinnOur next pro to come train us was dressage judge and coach Robin Tardy Ginn. Robin was kind enough to do a Fix-a-Test day with us in August. We rode our dressage test of choice for a real judge and then she worked with us to improve areas we did not score well on. After some coaching, we got to re-ride the test and see how we improved with her training. It was so much fun we are having Robin back in November for a full dressage clinic at Bits & Bytes Farm. How special it was to have the whole day to ask questions of a dressage judge and get the answers from her perspective. We learned a lot!

And now this BREAKING NEWS!

Our visiting pro in October will be none other than US Equestrian Team member, Lynn Symansky! The last time we saw her in person was at the World Equestrian Games riding Donner. Since then, Lynn has competed around the world on her horses. Lynn and another of her top-level horses, RF Cool Play, were a part of the U.S. gold medal-winning team and she won the individual silver at the Pan American Games in Lima. The Donner Syndicate for backs Donner and RF Cool Play. Sarah Berhalter and Lynn Symansky have had a long time friendship and partnership with the Donner Syndicate.

Sarah was able to get Lynn to come to Bits & Bytes Farm while Lynn is doing a clinic at another local farm. Lynn has several high-level horses she is competing with the hopes of making the Olympics next year with the US 3-Day Eventing Team. We are so excited that she will be coming to Bits & Bytes Farm on October 16th for a clinic. Thank you Sarah for arranging for all these inspiring trainers to come to Bits & Bytes Farm.

Two years later and Lynn Symansky is coming to Bits & Bytes Farm to train US!!! Can't wait for October 16th.
