Bits & Bytes Farm - Thoroughbred- Horses For Sale

Thoroughbred Horses For Sale

"Horses for sale." These words are exciting or scary depending on whether you are a buyer or a seller.

What do you do if you are a race track trainer who has a Thoroughbred horse for sale, who is sound, but just not competitive? The public cannot get onto the race track without a licensed professional to escort them. Trainers don't have the time to give tours of the race track. Trainers who care about their horse won't take it to auction or sell it for low end racing. These are the trainers we get our horses from.

SOLD! SOLD! SOLD! – Resources for Buying Thoroughbreds

September has been a busy month for Bits & Bytes Farm. We have been selling Thoroughbreds to buyers from Vermont, to Georgia, to Montana! Several of the horses we sold, we have also sold their siblings. Over the past 22 years, we have built relationships with breeders, owners, and trainers. They call us to find great homes for the Thoroughbreds they love when they are done racing. This is why we know so much about the horses we sell.

The Latest Newz from Bits & Bytes Farm

You may have noticed a change! After over 20 years of building this website, we thought it might be time for another update. The Bits & Bytes Farm website was created in 2001 and has gone through many changes. It was originally started for two reasons, the first was to help promote the Thoroughbred breed and find homes for ex-racehorses. The second reason was for us to learn how to build websites back in the day where it was all done in HTML code. The technology for building websites has gotten better and better. Today, we use a content management system known as WordPress to create our website. WordPress is built on a database which makes it easy to sort out the stories you want to read and link to related stories. If you want to see the old site sections (there is tons of good content there) you can click on the Archive button in the menu above.

This website will forever be a work in progress as we are always learning how to make websites more useful for visitors. We use this website to test out new technologies that we apply to our clients' websites -- that's where we make the money, it is well spent on the Thoroughbreds.

If you need a website for your business, just give us a call. Our websites are built so that Google will find them and they will appear in the appropriate searches by potential customers. Though website design has gotten easier the underlying structure of the website has changed and it is critical that a website is built from the ground up with search engine optimization (SEO) in mind. We bring in  your social media accounts like Facebook and YouTube to your website so that it is automatically updated. Our website business is Egeland Wood & Zuber, Inc. Give us a call if you would like assistance with your digital marketing.
