Facebook is great at bringing back memories from the past. The memory of a wedding at Bits & Bytes Farm popped up on my Facebook page and it reminded me the share a story with our followers on our website.
Adrienne was a person who reached out to Bits & Bytes Farm to find a Thoroughbred. She purchased Popular Five from our website in 2010.

We carefully match our horses to people who we feel have the skills and to love and care for them. Adrienne was a match for Popular Five aka 'Bo'.
Adrienne boarded Popular Five at our farm as she worked on getting her farm ready for another horse. She had an older Anglo-Arab named Argo who was ready to retired and that is why she got 'Bo'.
Our buyers and boarders become our family at Bits & Bytes Farm, so, it only made sense that when Adrienne decided to marry Romney, the whole farm family would throw a wedding for them - at Bits & Bytes Farm.
Adrienne had recently lost her mom and dad so Barry and Elizabeth filled in on those roles.

Every boarder and friend of the farm was there to make the day special. We had custom designed Save the Date cards and invitations designed by Melanie Eberhardt, mom to Bubba. Food and decorations were planned and executed by everyone. We set up one of the pastures with hay bales and chairs for our guests. Flowers were hung in the tree and on poles. We forgot that Dan Dan the Dancin' Man a Paso-Fino could slip though the horse safe wire and he 'rearranged' the setup and ate the flowers the night before the big day!

We had lots of horses participating in the wedding. Popular Five was the Best Man, Argo gave the bride a side-saddle ride to the alter, Lacy, the mini, was the flower girl, and Punch rocked the invitation graphics to direct the guests to the farm entrance.
What a great day it was! We have many wonderful stories to tell.

Today, they celebrate their ninth wedding anniversary.
Happy Anniversary!
