Black Thoroughbred horse for sale“Miss Behaving” is a 2006,15’3 hand,chestnut Thoroughbred filly for sale from her breeder. “Beach” is a 2005,16’3 hand,black Thoroughbred gelding. He is clean legged with no vices and tons of personality.

Fast Commander – 17 Hand Resale

Fast Commander is for sale. He is now a beautiful quiet balanced 17 hand six year-old Thoroughbred gelding with three very smooth gaits. He has done well at shows here in the beginner hunter divisions and he does well in flat classes. He is very good at lateral work, so he might also like to compete in dressage. He is great on the trails and has no problems with crossing water or bridges. He is a great horse we want him to have the right home that fits him. His has a big puppy dog personality and he is very nice to ride. Fast Commander is currently in Longmont, CO.

“Bena” is No Longer Available

“Bena” is a dark bay, 16+ hand, 2007 Thoroughbred gelding for sale directly from the track. He is the coolest horse in the barn. “Bena” is his barn name. He had his shoes pulled and he has not been in training for the last month because he just will not try to win in a race. Even after three weeks in his stall he came out totally quiet and jogged quietly even though horses were training on the track beside him.

“Bena” loves peppermints. His groom loves him and does not want him to go to low end racing. “Bena” has a playful personality – he is an in your pocket kind of horse. He is quiet and well behaved. This horse loves attention. We need to find him a home or he will be headed to Finger Lakes soon which is a far cry from Belmont and Aqueduct where he started his racing career. He has no vices. Call ASAP if you are looking for a sound buddy to compete with.

We did her early release on the Bits & Bytes Farm Facebook Fan page so that followers of us on Facebook could have the first view of her. We now have new photos from our visit last week to her breeders farm in Lexington, KY. A group of us were on our way home from the Equine Affaire in Columbus, OH when we stopped in to visit with our favorite breeder and see the new babies at the farm.

Great Game is a gorgeous black mare and we already had her first foal in training at Bits & Bytes Farm — Running Tall.

Power Master is our newest Thoroughbred horse for sale. He is a 2008, bay Thoroughbred gelding who is already almost 17 hands! He is for sale from his breeder who is cutting back on the number of horses she is racing. This horse should go to a serious competitor. It is not often we get a horse that is young and unraced. Detroit Andy - Grey Horse for saleWe have new photos of “Detroit Andy” at home on his breeder’s farm in Lexington, KY. He is all woolly and muddy and just lovin’ life. He has been away from racing for a few months and he is ready to begin training as a sport horse. We are hoping to find him a match with an event rider looking for a horse to take up through the divisions. “Detroit Andy” only raced 15 times and he won only once. His breeder has younger horses, with more potential for winning, ready to begin training so “Detroit Andy” has retired from racing to keep the costs down. The snow is melting and the phones are getting hot so don’t delay in calling about this fine horse.
