Twining Hearts aka “Twiny” – Sport Horse Prospect – SOLD!

"Twiny' 16.2 Hand Thoroughbred Horse For Sale

Twining Hearts and his new ownerTwining Hearts aka “Twiny” is a 2010 16.2 hand (and growing) chestnut Thoroughbred gelding for sale. He is a big strong boy who is doing OK racing. He did better before he was gelded and now he is more mellow. His sire won the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness so he is a very well bred horse. He has run just 16 times – eight this year, and he has only won two times. He finished third in his last race so he is sound and ready for a new career. This is a big and young horse that should be sound for any career. We think he looks like a jumper or an event horse. He has a lot of power in his frame. He is for sale by his owner through one of our best trainer contacts. We have gotten many very good horses from her that have gone on to successful sport horse careers. One of the reasons for this is that she brings the horse back to the farm to train between races. The horses get to be horses when they are not racing and they get to eat lots of good green grass. She says he has a great personality and is fun to work with.

UPDATE DECEMBER 2015:
Twiny has been SOLD! Twining Hearts is off to Kalamzoo, MI to be an event horse with his new owner Justin Bray.
