“Var” – SOLD!

"Var" - Grey Thoroughbred Horse For Sale

“Var” is a 16’1 hand, 2008 Thoroughbred gelding for sale from his owner’s farm. He has run limited amount of times – winning only twice. He has become non-competitive and his owner/trainer has decided to let him go to a non race home. He feels that he is nice horse and doesn’t need to be continued to be raced. He would make a great jumper or 3-day event horse. He has tons of athletic ability and is super kind and quiet. “Var” is clean legged and the owner/trainer has told us he has never had address any soundness issues at all thru his career. He loves the grand kids and allows them to sit on him bareback while he is eating his dinner. He is very friendly and curious. He is ready for a new career and should make the transition very easily.  He moves nice and free from his shoulder and he is a big mover. Look past the rough mane and lack of conditioning (he’s on the farm – not the track) and you will see a real “diamond in the rough”. “Var” owner has sold him. He is no longer available.
