Warmblood or Thoroughbred?

An interesting article was recently posted on the Chronicle of the Horse Web site. It shows the influence of the Thoroughbred on the sport horses of today. Many of the top warmblood dressage lines are heavily influenced by the Thoroughbred breed. Several top warmblood stallions are half Thoroughbred!

Another Trip to Kentucky – Another New OTTB!

im-tellin-ellen-sold_20100124_33-500We did a quick trip to Kentucky to pick up our newest OTTB – I’m Tellin Ellen aka “Ella”. We were able to visit with friends in Lexington, load up the trailer with Kentucky hay for our horses back home and check out the construction for the World Equestrian Games at the Kentucky Horse Park.
