Suellen bought Detroit Iron to save him from being ridden by everybody at the farm including Baroness Von River- our Head Assistant Trainer.

Detroit Iron, our former Prospect Horse for sale, is now at Bits & Bytes Farm. He has been living on his breeder’s farm in Lexington, KY for the winter so he is woolly and thin at the moment. He will shed his coat and turn into a beautiful swan in another week or two. He is out on our green grass pastures with Monarch’s Reign and Popular Five. He settled into life at Bits & Bytes Farm like he had been here all along. Detroit Iron is a very well bred horse and he has an old soul. He is very calm about everything and he likes to snuggle. We have new photos of “Detroit Andy” at home on his breeder’s farm in Lexington, KY. He is all woolly and muddy and just lovin’ life. He has been away from racing for a few months and he is ready to begin training as a sport horse. We are hoping to find him a match with an event rider looking for a horse to take up through the divisions. “Detroit Andy” only raced 15 times and he won only once. His breeder has younger horses, with more potential for winning, ready to begin training so “Detroit Andy” has retired from racing to keep the costs down. The snow is melting and the phones are getting hot so don’t delay in calling about this fine horse.

ust in time for Christmas, we have a new gray horse for sale. “Detroit Andy” is a 2006 foal who has only raced ten times. He is a turf horse bred for distance. He was raced by his breeder and he now has retired sound to his farm in Kentucky. This horse is the perfect eventing prospect horse for a young rider or professional who is looking to start a young horse.
