Swear has had two weekends of training. What has this off-the-track Thoroughbred learned in five rides?
TWO WEEKENDS OF TRAINING: the first ride off-the-track, multiple riders, learned to stand while being mounted from a mounting block, learned to lunge, first trail ride (ride 2), first creek crossing, first trot poles and first attempts at jumping. Our EARLY RELEASE Mailing List is great if you are looking to find a safe, sane and sound Thoroughbred before it becomes public on the Internet. A recent mailing for “Knowing” was sent out and Karen McPeak had her interest “peaked”.
We have several great horses for sale right now and several more coming. We just posted “Irish” who is a gorgeous grey Thoroughbred who is for sale from his breeder. We really like the horses from this breeder and we have sold three of “Irish’s” siblings. “Irish” just came home from the track after a short racing career.
Saint Lawrence was purchased as a yearling from one of our favorite Thoroughbred breeders in April 2011. He is now almost 29 months old and time to be broke for riding. We have done a year and a half of ground work and training and now it is time to get on him for the first time . . .
