Made in Her Image came to Bits & Bytes Farm from the race track in mid-December 2018 for a few months of training. Her owner will be bringing ‘Mae’ home to Nantucket, MA in the spring. We have the pleasure of starting this three-year-old filly and documenting it.

Prospect Horse Swear is in Training at Bits & Bytes Farm

Swear has had two weekends of training. What has this off-the-track Thoroughbred learned in five rides?

TWO WEEKENDS OF TRAINING: the first ride off-the-track, multiple riders, learned to stand while being mounted from a mounting block, learned to lunge, first trail ride (ride 2), first creek crossing, first trot poles and first attempts at jumping. Heather’s Best – Still the BEST!

I got this yesterday from a Bits & Bytes Farm horse buyer who purchased Heather’s Best in 2007. One photo is from now and one is from 2007. Can you tell the difference? Heather’s Best was a steeplechase horse before becoming an event horse for his owner Jennifer DeGier. Heather’s Best ran 73 races and retired sound at 9 to Bits & Bytes Farm. He is now 21 and still jumping!

Congratulations to Louis Ngom on the Purchase of Doc’s Deesign!

We are pleased to announce that Louis Ngom of Sunrise Farm in Lake City, Florida is the new owner of Doc’s Deesign. “Doc” will begin his training with Louis in Florida with the hope that he will learn to excel in the hunter/jumper world. You will be able to follow his progress on Sunrise Farm’s Facebook page.

Louis moved to North America in 2010 from Dakar, Senegal after a successful show jumping career in Europe and West Africa.
