Mini Horse, Maxi Fun

Life Lessons Learned from a Mini

Recently, I had the opportunity to introduce the mini’s two young owners to their first horse – Lacy. They have never met Lacy or had a horse of their own so this was great fun to be doing the introductions. I still remember my first horse and how much fun it was the day I met her and that is why I love matching ex-race horses to new owners.

Maverick Trainer at Bits & Bytes Farm

Brat Maverick will continue to live at Bits & Bytes Farm and Kathy will use him during her lessons. Kathy welcomes new students – especially women who are getting back into riding after a long break. These re-riders will find learning to ride again fun and informative in a supportive environment of adult riders who have nothing to prove and everything to enjoy. We have very quiet Thoroughbreds to ride while relearning the pleasure of riding horses. Contact Kathy Duke for riding lessons: 404-433-0919.

Bits & Bytes Farm’s lush green pasturesOur Thoroughbreds are enjoying the emerald green pastures on this St. Patrick’s Day. All of Barry’s hard work of fertilizing and putting out weed killer has made our pastures look like Ireland. We have large grass pastures and 12 x 18 stalls and room for just a few more boarders. Give us a call and set up a visit.
