This Bible verse spoke to my breaking heart today…
Once more a horse we sold has crossed the rainbow bridge to run free in heaven. This one may have been one of the most special ones. She came into a family’s life when they needed her most.
Our very talented artist in residence (well her horse Bubba is in residence) at Bits & Bytes Farm has come up with another timely “Nickerdoodle”. She is taking the current events of today and the ‘Occupy Wall Street’ movement and applying it to happenings around the farm. Read more . . .
One night Detroit Iron, aka “Fofo Andy”, busted out of his stall and had some fun. With all the other horses watching from their stall doors, “Fofo Andy” turned on the water faucet just outside So Romeo’s stall.
When we humans arrived in the morning we found So Romeo perched on the last remaining dry . . .
It is said that upon the strike of midnight on Christmas Eve animals are given the gift of speech. They then rise and sing out in praise of the Christ child. You well intentioned humans nearly got it right. The truth is, that upon the strike of midnight on Christmas Eve, humans are given the gift of hearing.
One of my ancestors had the great honor of being in that humble stable on the night of His birth. The following “tail” has been passed down from generation to generation. . .

The first one is up on the site and the second one will be posted soon. This first “Nickerdoodle” is a result of the excitement at the farm when we decide to go trail riding. . .
