Intervet Schering-Plough has announced an URGENT RECALL of all serial numbers of PreveNile® West Nile Virus vaccine for horses due to an increased number of adverse event reports associated with the use of these vaccines. According to a letter distributed by the manufacturer, the USDA has been alerted of this recall. “Star” is a 2006 Kentucky bred, 16.3 hand, gray gelding for sale in Florida. He is believed sound for any career. We have only a short time to find “Star” new career. We were fortunate recently to make contact with a breeder who has given her horses great training from the day they were born. She started them slow and did not race them until they were three.
