Saturday and Sunday morning and Saturday late afternoon Bits & Bytes Farm will be hosting a dressage clinic with Evie Stephens. The ride time slots are all filled with the Thoroughbreds of Bits & Bytes Farm but we welcome auditors. If you have wondered about our farm and would like to see the horses of the Web site taking a dressage lesson, please stop in. We will have food and drinks and shade from the summer sun. We did a quick run up to Keeneland Race Track to check on a few horses we are waiting to become available for sale. Even when there is no racing at Keeneland it has lots of activity because it is a training center for Thoroughbreds. While in Kentucky, we stopped by our favorite breeder’s farm to get more photos of Great Game and pick up some fantastic Kentucky hay for the horses back home. Enjoy our story and photos . . .
Sunday was such a perfect spring day that we decided to take the Oliver’s new 4 Star trailer on a test run to Garland Mountain in north Georgia with their two Thoroughbreds — Political Pull and Spot Run. We loaded four more Thoroughbreds into the Bits & Bytes Farm’s 4 Star to join in on the fun. So Romeo, With Wings, Monarch’s Reign and our newest off-the-track Thoroughbred, Detroit Iron aka “Andy” all enjoy trail riding.
