Garland Mountain Gallop
Five Bits & Bytes Farm off-the-track Thoroughbreds headed to Garland Mountain in North Georgia for a trail ride on the most spectacular day. The weather was sunny and unusually cool for a June day in Georgia. Classic Casey, Stormin in Style, Political Pull, Spot Run and Imatexan had a great run on the trails.

Our baby at the farm, Saint Lawrence, turns two on May 5, 2012. He is the center of attention at the farm and he likes it that way. He is confident and fearless. He measures 16.3 at his butt and his withers are close to that as well.

Happy Valentine’s Day from So Romeo!
So Romeo is a Thoroughbred Horse For Sale at Bits & Bytes Farm. He is looking for someone to love him and compete with him. We have been having fun with Romeo doing de-spooking exercises. So Romeo is a talented horse and he is looking for an experienced rider to take him to competitions. He is not a horse for a child or timid rider. He is extremely athletic and cat-like. He can jump the moon! He is best suited for jumping, eventing and dressage.

Back from the Track – New Gray Horses!
We returned from the race track with Young Joe – our beautiful big, solid gray gelding. He is sooo sweet.

It was a small but hardy group that set out to trail ride at Jake Mountain in North Georgia. The weather was forecasting an annoying light mist of rain with chances of heavier showers.
